The ea-Geier consists of a base system and multiple accounting-specific modules providing
- the cash-book functionality,
- the assets-book functionality,
- the purchase-book functionality,
- the traveling-expenses functionality,
- and theaccounting-balance functionality.
The base system is the framework for the ea-Geier. It provides all none-accounting functionality and can be used for other projects as well.
It defines the directory structure of the ea-Geier and realizes interfaces to the database, configuration and session handling, layout, and third-party libraries.
Special maintenance files files of the base system hold additional functionality for development and maintenance.
All the code of the ea-Geier follows defined coding standards.
